Fuck Connex
So my Uncle who just immigrated here from China, like 2 weeks ago, got a job at some place in the city. To get to the city, rather than spending $10 a day on train tickets, he uses my yearly.
Now as he is new to Australia, he is learning english at some eng lang school, whhich makes him a student.
Today he accidently fell asleep on the train home and ended up at Craneborne. Bear in mind, he has been in Australia for less than a month and can barely speak english
He had the misfortune to be inspected by ticket inspectors. He gives them my yearly, and they call my mum etc etc
however when my mummy gets to the station she finds out they’re going to fine us $330. 165 because it wasn’t his ticket and 165 because he didn’t have a concession card.
Ok fair enough, no concession card but the ticket is just unreasonable. They go on to relate it to a drivers license, how “you wouldn’t let someone borrow ur drivers license”. fucking idiots. its a fucking bus ticket.
Then they tell us they’re withholding my fuckign ticket until we get the fine in the mail. And as im 18, i have to go to flinders to get it myself.
